The primary challenge of this project centered on architecting the website in a manner that facilitates swift and intuitive access to pertinent information for diverse user groups while simultaneously highlighting critical content appealing to all customers. Through comprehensive research into the browsing preferences of each user segment, it became evident that smart home solutions and key features tailored for homeowners resonate universally across all user groups.

Consequently, we designed the homepage with a homeowner-centric focus, complemented by distinctly labeled subsections dedicated to contractors and device manufacturers. This strategic structure ensures that each user can navigate effortlessly to the information most relevant to them, streamlining the user experience while maintaining a cohesive presentation of essential content.

What is Devicebook

The landing page serves as the pivotal introduction to the Devicebook Smart Home Suite, outlining its essence and significance for prospective users. The challenge lies in crafting a seamless experience that not only provides comprehensive information but also cleverly integrates calls to action, compelling visitors to explore further. Simultaneously, it's vital to subtly direct the two other user groups towards their respective paths, ensuring a fluid and intuitive journey for every visitor.

User Journey

For each user group, it's essential to furnish the necessary information to facilitate their decision-making process regarding their engagement with our services. The user journey is meticulously designed to encompass five critical stages:

1) Browsing - where users first encounter our offerings,

2) Product Familiarization - where they gain a deeper understanding of our products,

3) Needs Assessment - where users evaluate the alignment of our offerings with their requirements,

4) Guidance - where we provide clear instructions on the next steps

5) Call to Action - where we prompt users to take decisive action towards engagement. This structured approach ensures users are well-informed and confident in their decision to proceed.

Outcomes

1. Successfully launched in 2019.
